5 Years!

I first have to apologize for all of these posts with no pictures, I haven't been in a cheery enough mood lately to be trying to take pictures. But, at least I've built up the courage to do a happy post. Today is Jeramy and I's 5 year anniversary. He's working all weekend, so we're not doing anything fun. The last 5 years have been the most amazing! It has gone by quickly, and had a lot of heartache, Jeramy is so good to me during my hard times. I appreciate him so much for helping me cheer up when I'm going through a hard time! Love ya babe!
On another note, I've started a new job a few weeks ago. I'm working as a front desk manager at a real estate company. I absolutely love it! The people I work with are awesome!

She will be missed...

I am sure most of you know by now, but my mom passed away on January 28. It was by far the hardest thing I have ever done. On sat. the 24th I got a phone call in the middle of moving that my mom was in the hospital and they were doing CPR to keep her alive. We rushed down to St. George, and met my family at the hospital to be by her side. When we got to the ER it was the worst thing I have ever seen. She was on life support and in a constant seizure. I don't even know how to explain it other than it was horrible. They sent us up to the ICU where they were taking her after they did a surgery to put a balloon pump in her heart. She made it through the surgery, but was in a coma. They still did not know what had happened. She called 911 saying she was having a panic attack and coughing up blood. Once she got to the hospital she went into cardiac arrest, it took them so long to recover her, that her brain just went too long without oxygen, and so the tissue started to die.
She was on life support, and we all waited in the ICU waiting room day and night, hoping and praying for any good news. Unfortunately everytime the Dr. would come in, it was with more news that her condition was getting worse. Legally, it was my decision if and when to take her off life support. She had always told me that she NEVER wanted to be on life support, so I knew the decision, we waited until we felt we had mentally prepared as much as possible. On wednesday, we made the decision. It only was about 5 minutes after the life support was removed that she went. We were all by her side, it was a very emotional time, and the hardest thing to watch your mom die.
I'm sorry this post is super long, but wanted to give everyone the scoop as to why I'm not posting much, and not keeping in touch with anyone, I have been SO busy trying to get everything taken care of, and also grieving my precious mom. I love her so much, and keep wishing for just one more day with her.

I hope Brittany isn't mad at me for hacking into her blog! I (Dawn Nebeker) wanted her friends to know what was going on and to keep Brittany and her family in our prayers. Tonight while we were helping them move Brittany's aunt called and told her that her mom was in the hospital and was on life support. Last I heard, they didn't know what was wrong. Brittany called the hospital and all they would say was that her mom was really sick and they were doing everything they could. They had no idea wither or not she is going to make it. We love you guys and pray that your mom will pull through!

Moving day!

This is a total spur of the moment move, we didn't even know til yesterday that we were moving! We have decided to do foster care again, but our condo just isn't quite big enough. We started looking yesterday for a new place, and asked our landlord if there would be any way we could get out of our contract. Well, obviously she didn't like that idea, but happened to have a much bigger, nicer house just come up for rent and could roll our contract over to it. We went and looked at it, and really liked it so we told her we thought we could do it. She said ok I'd like you to move this weekend so I can start showing your place. WHAT?! So, here we are getting ready to move with no notice! The house is nice, but not exactly what we wanted, I'm hoping we can make it work for a long time so we don't have to move again til we buy a house! This is the 7th place we will have lived in almost 5 years, we move a lot and its getting old!

Three years...

So I have to apologize right now that this is probably going to be long and sad. Three years ago today was one of the hardest days of mine and Jeramy's lives. Three years ago tomorrow was the hardest. We were expecting our first child, a boy. We were SO excited. I was six months pregnant. We were going to name him Jaedon Russel Pearson. I went in for a check up, to find out that he had died. We were devastated. They induced labor because he was too big to simply do a D&C. I layed awake all night in labor, knowing and preparing for what was coming. Finally, in the morning of January 18th, our little Jaedon was born. Stillborn. He was so tiny, we were able to hold him for awhile. It was the roughest experience I have ever gone through, but I wouldn't change it for anything. I learned to appreciate what I do have, and enjoy every minute for what it's worth, because you never know when it will be gone. I think that I now appreciate the son I do have, more than I ever could have without this experience. I know how precious he really is, and I know I can not take for granted having him. I look at Kaelor, and remember how easily they can be taken from you, and just have to love and enjoy him for every minute I have. I don't know how else to explain how much it really makes me enoy the simple things in life.

Kaelor had fun playing peek a boo in the car!

Salt Lake

Sorry the pictures are kind of bad but it was hard to get a good picture in there because the lighting was weird. But this is a picture of the pools they jump into and the waterfall.

Kaelor loved the food!!

Kaelor has seizures and has to go up to Primary Childrens hospital every few months for check ups and tests. We were up there this weekend and made a fun little trip out of it. We stayed at my dad's house which was lots of fun because Kaelor loves his "papa" SO MUCH!! We went and ate at the Mayan restaurant which is awesome! Its a fun place, you watch the people jump off cliffs into the water while you eat yummy food.

Crazy Kid!

I love having a toddler in the house, it means there is never a dull moment for sure. Lately Kaelor will put one of mine or Jeramy's shoes on (yes only one), then grab "his" keys, head for the door, mumble something, and blow us a kiss goodbye. Today, I guess he thought slippers were going to be the right choice for his outfit.

Kaelor loves his new drums!!
