I haven't posted in forever, and I seriously doubt anyone even looks at this blog anymore because of it! But, a lot has happened in the last little while that I thought I'd share!
First, I havent even posted to announce our upcoming arrival! Everyone I'm sure knows, since I''m 7 1/2 months along... We are expecting a little boy in April and couldn't be happier! We are naming him Tayson Joel. The middle name is after my mom Joleen. We have had some experiences that have really made us think she has had a little bit of a hand in this! After 3 years of trying, many tests, fertility treatments, and miscarriages we finally gave up, and what do ya know, that was the magic trick!
The other night I went into labor and delivery, thinking my water had broke, or was leaking. This happened with Kaelor, so i was worried it was happening again. While they were waiting for the test results they had me hooked up to the monitors to make sure nothing else was happening. Well, I didn't even no it, but I was having regular, growing contractions pretty close together. So, they gave me some medicine to try and stop it. But, that just made it worse! They checked me, said I was 100% effaced, but not dilated at all. They called my dr, and came back with steroid shots to help the baby's lungs if he was to be born early, and terbutaline shots. The only way to describe them is HELL! They give them every 20 minutes to stop labor, I had them a lot with Kaelor so I knew what to expect. They finally got the contractions to stop, but by that time I had dilated to a 1. So, they kept me overnight to make sure that it was really under control. They sent me home yesterday morning, on the nasty terbutaline medicine, and modified bedrest. I am only 30 weeks so it is waaay to early for this little guy to come! I have been struggling with the thought of most likely having another preemie baby, it is so hard!!! I just need to remember that I'm finally getting a baby and just need to be happy for that!
Well now that I've wrote a novel, that is what's going on around here for now! No pictures, because I don't want to get up to get my camera and spark more contractions.
