His birth story...

I'm sure no one reads this anymore since I never post!! So this is for my "journaling" of his birth before the details are all a blur! I started having contractions about 3-7 minutes apart at 30 weeks. And they never really stopped. I wasn't dilating after they stopped my labor the first time it happened so I just had to be checked once a week and go into labor and delivery at any slightest change or additional sign of labor. That got old!! Also, as he got bigger, he was sitting on a nerve, so I was in extreme pain in my lower back, and down the inside of my thigh. It got to the point I really couldn't do much of anything without crying. At about 35 weeks I started going into my Dr. every other day. He was concerned for me since I was so miserable he wanted to keep checking on me, and having me hear my babies heartbeat to be reassured that everything was ok and it was going to be worth all of the pain. He really did not want to do a c-section before 37 weeks, understandably since a premature baby is not a good thing. So as I got closer to 37 weeks, and more miserable we decided it was time to get this little guy out. I went for my appointment on Monday, and he said he could tell I was done, and he could do the c section wednesday. Hallelujah!!! I went straight to the hospital to register and check in for surgery. Then, on Tuesday night I had an amnio to make sure his lungs were really developed enough. The results came back at about 10:30 that night that he was good and they told me to be back at 5am for a c section!! Yay, you can bet i got NO sleep that night, but it was ok :). So we went in in the morning, they got me all prepped for surgery and I went to the OR at 7am. As soon as the spinal started to take effect I breathed a sigh of relief that I was finally out of the pain. The surgery went perfect, and he was born at 7:25 and so absolutley perfect!! As soon as he was born he was crying and screaming, it was the best sound I have ever heard (besides Kaelors first cries of course!) I was crying happy tears at the sound of it, and I guess my crying made my oxygen levels drop drastically. It kind of freaked the anesthesiologist out, but I was crying too much to tell him that was probably why. They eventually figured it out! I got to hold him and see him for a few minutes before they took him back to clean him. I didn't get to see Kaelor for 10 hours after he was born so it was awesome to be able to see Tayson. Jeramy went back with them to bathe him. I got all sewed up and went back to my room. Brenda was there waiting, and they brought Tayson in shortly. Everything went so perfect, and he is such a good baby. We named him Tayson Joel. Joel after my mom -Joleen. I had several dreams right before I got pregnant with him that really made me feel like my mom had a little bit of a hand in getting him here. We are all so in love with him and can't wait to watch him grow!
